Our college is situated in a peaceful surrounding with the blessings of Lord Muruga . It is on the main road connecting the turmeric city with the ' Manchester of Tamil Nadu" ( Coimbatore), Tirupur, and "Queen of Hills"(Nilgiris).

Vellalar College of Education for Women a Souvenir in Women's Education has established in the year 2005-06 with the objective of providing quality Teacher Education for women, and housed in a lofty building of its own amidst silver surroundings providing quality higher Education.
